dHealthNetwork’s principles for data security and privacy protection are focused on the rights of our members. All personal information provided to dHealthNetwork will be treated with care and responsibly managed.

Firstly, who are ‘we’?

When we refer to ‘we’ (or ‘our’ or ‘us’), that means dHealthNetwork - a Telos Joint Venture. Our representative here in Australia is Sicoor Pty Ltd. Our headquarters are in Dubai and we have an office in Australia at Sunshine Coast Innovation Centre, 90 Sippy Downs Drive, Sippy Downs, Queensland, Australia 4556. For European Union data protection purposes, when we act as a controller in relation to your personal data, Sicoor Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 20 603 238 893) is our representative.

What is dHealthNetwork’s Privacy Policy?

Our Privacy Policy is based on the following provisions:

  • Members can access, update or change their personal information at any time.
  • Members can opt-out of communication, or close their accounts at any time.
  • We only store personal information members choose to provide. We strive to use up-to-date best practises to protect all personal information from unauthorised access and interference.
  • We prohibit access to your personal information, unless you decide to make it available. We won’t provide access, or transfer any personal information to any unauthorised parties.
  • Any necessary disclosure of personal information is required to respect and maintain our commitments to privacy and security.

dHealthNetwork runs on the principle of making your digital healthcare data more valuable. We know you care about your personal information being used and shared, so we take your privacy very seriously. By registering a membership account, you agree that you understand and accept our Privacy Policy.

What information do we collect?

We collect three broad types of information:

  1. Information you directly provide us;
  2. Information about your use and interaction with dHealthNetwork;
  3. Information collected through the platform, applications, other parties or businesses.

1. Information you directly provide us can include:

  • email addresses and passwords you provide when registering an account;
  • personal information;
  • data you submit during activities on the platform;
  • correspondence with dHealthNetwork’s team;
  • personal information for other applications or platforms associated with dHealthNetwork you’ve registered with and connected to your account;
  • wallet and banking details you associate with your account;
  • other information you directly provide to associate with your account.

2. Information about your use and interaction with dHealthNetwork can include:

  • IP addresses, geolocation data and other data stored in dHealthNetwork’s cookies;
  • activities on dHealthNetwork, such as your participation in Action Projects or progression through a particular activity on the platform;
  • account activity, such as when you login to your account, when you send us customer service correspondence, and when you use a dHealthNetwork application;
  • information about the device you’re using to access your account;
  • your transaction history, including your account balance, payments you receive from participating in activities and any transfers, exchanges, storage, or redemptions you have requested.

3. Information collected through the platform, applications, other parties or businesses can include:

  • personal details shared by other businesses;
  • names, email addresses, and other details of contacts shared by other businesses;
  • data held by other parties which is shared with us.
Concerning Cookies:

Cookies are small pieces of data sent by websites and stored by web browsers, and can contain login details, tracking data, or other information.

We only ever access dHealthNetwork cookie data on your device and never access or attempt to access any other cookies stored on your device.

How do we use information we collect?

We use information provided to us to publish and deliver insights and relevant activities to you through dHealthNetwork. This can include:

  • sending emails or other notifications to alert members of activities for which you may qualify (if you opt-in to receiving such notifications);
  • using responses from an activity, which has been provided in a de-identified way, for further analysis or use, including publication of de-identified results;
  • help detect and prevent fraudulent activity;
  • maintain the data quality of Action-Project activity;
  • improve and personalise your experience of the platform;
  • maintain, operate and improve dHealthNetwork; and
  • promote our services using advertisements or other materials.
Use of information by others

There are times when other parties may be provided access to de-identified information, such as determining target audiences for communication.

All information provided to other parties for such purposes will be presented in an aggregated and de-identified format, unless you grant us express permission to do otherwise.

Action-Projects use of information

Action-Projects are also allowed to ask you to provide personal information for participation. You should know that:

  • you are providing this information directly to the Action-Project and not dHealthNetwork;
  • your information will be dealt with in accordance with the relevant Action-Project’s Privacy Policy and not dHealthNetwork’s Privacy Policy; and
  • you can always decline providing information.

Your personal information helps to match and deliver relevant content to you on dHealthNetwork, and whenever it is used directly or by Action-Projects, your data will always be protected and de-identified unless you specify otherwise.

Information you can use

Information collected through the platform, applications, other parties or businesses may be used by you to allow you to:

  • invite your friends to join dHealthNetwork;
  • communicate with your friends and contacts about dHealthNetwork;
  • view and access your account through the site or platform;
  • help detect and prevent fraudulent activity;
  • improve dHealthNetwork’s accessibility;
  • participate in Action-Projects;
  • create relationships between your dHealthNetwork account and your other online accounts.

You can use your information for: connecting your social media accounts, telling your friends about dHealthNetwork, or contact us to report bugs or suggest improvements.

Accessing and controlling your information

If you:

  • want to obtain access to any personal information that we hold about you;
  • object to profiling, including profiling for marketing purposes;
  • believe any of your personal information that we hold is inaccurate, incomplete or it is not necessary to hold it; or
  • want to delete your personal information from our records,

you can contact us using one of the channels listed in the ‘Contact Us’ section or by emailing us on We will exercise all reasonable efforts to resolve your request as swiftly as possible.

We will provide you with our reasons if we refuse your request and, if you disagree, you are entitled to ask us to make a note of the request with your information. You may also request that your personal information be restricted from processing where one of the following applies:

  • we are verifying accuracy of personal information which you believe is inaccurate;
  • the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of your personal information;
  • we no longer require the personal information but you require it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; and
  • you have objected to processing and we are verifying whether there are legitimate grounds to refuse the objection.

You control your dHealthNetwork information and can access, update, change and delete it whenever you need to.

Disclosure to other parties

We will not sell, trade, give, share, provide access to, or rent any information to other parties, unless:

  1. you have expressly consented;
  2. such disclosure is permitted by the Terms of Service or this Privacy Policy; or
  3. we are required to do so by a court of law.

If we provide information to other parties, it is only disclosed in aggregate and de-identified formats. We never provide any personally identifiable Information unless you expressly grant us permission to do so. This permission will (unless otherwise indicated) be required on a case-by-case basis.

Wallet and Banking details

We only disclose your wallet or banking details for the purpose of actioning your transaction requests. This disclosure occurs in a secure online facility.

Overseas staff handling your data

Data for some activities may be analysed and aggregated by staff in our global offices located in the United Arab Emirates, and Australia.

Our staff, including contractors, are required to maintain the same privacy and data protection standards as required under the General Data Protection Regulation.

Overseas data handling

Action-Projects may originate outside your country of residence. If you agree to allow your data to be provided when participating with them, we may need to use hosting facilities located outside your nation’s borders to ensure your information is accessible. We will ensure that any hosting providers used are not permitted access to your information.

Data matching

We may disclose de-identified information with other parties to determine if they already hold information about you. We do this for the following purposes:

  • to seek your consent to add the information held by other parties to your dHealthNetwork account; and
  • to determine if you qualify for an Action-Project (for example for Action-Projects which want to deploy activities to individuals already in their database).

If the other party holds no information about you, we ensure any de-identified information we disclose to them is rendered inaccessible then destroyed.

Linking your account

If you associate your dHealthNetwork account with another service, website, or account using our platform, we may save any data retrieved via this association.

If this happens, the nature of data being transferred will be communicated to you, and require your consent at the time you link your account.

Please read Terms of Service agreements carefully before linking your dHealthNetwork account to anything.

Information security

We are committed to providing a secure online environment to use dHealthNetwork and have invested considerable resources to protect your information from loss, misuse, corruption and unauthorised access. More precisely, we have invested in:

  • Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt the transfer of all digital data between our servers and members web browsers; and
  • Firewalls and data encryption protecting against any unauthorised access.

We make these and other significant efforts to ensure that risk to data security is minimised, but it’s possible that information stored on our servers and data transmitted online can sometimes be subject to unauthorised access. Due to the nature of the Internet, we cannot completely guarantee that information will never be compromised.

We do everything we can to provide a safe environment for you, including keeping our data security up-to-date to prevent exploitation. However, because it is literally impossible, we can’t promise absolutely perfect security and can’t guarantee a completely risk-free experience.

Closing your dHealthNetwork account

Using dHealthNetwork and maintaining an account is completely opt-in, so you may close your dHealthNetwork account at any time. You’re always able to dissociate your account from any service, application, or website you’ve previously linked to. Upon dissociating your account, we’ll provide you the option of having all associated data deleted from our records.

We’ll be sad to see you go, but if you want to close your account and retrieve all recorded data, you’re always able to.
